Of course, the greater controversy surrounding Night Trap involved its infamous role in the U.S. While its basic gameplay was far from previous FMV hits such as Dragons Lair, the unreliable acting and writing (not just the incredible video quality that the Sega CD is known for) made it almost impossible to realize any of the world’s great pleasures because of its little interactive entertainment.
